Description
Salifloriphytea is a clade of plants that tolerates extremely salty environments. Many species of the clade are found clustered around the geysers in the salty oases of Vekia deserts.

Although short and stocky in appearance, most of their biomass is buried in the ground, their root system extending tens of meters below the surface.

The green parts of the plant are highly toxic. However, the flowers, which are bioluminescent, offer a sweet oily nectar to the quadripteran that feed on them.
