Description Omnividentis salum is a very small all-seeing flyer species.

Like other all-seeing flyers on the planet, their body is filled with a type of gas that helps the creature levitate. They can retract their eyes and feature a spot on each wing, but their most distinctive feature is that their early life stages require brine water.

The eggs are laid in the brine as no predator is likely to venture there, and the larvae feed exclusively on the extremophilic bacteria that carpet the bottom of the salt ponds. The larva grows slowly, and the species moults several times a year. After three years, the adults emerge from the salt water. This occurs with the ripening of the saltberry fruit, which the adults crave.

They will only live as adults for a few weeks, but successive waves of Omnividentis salum maturity mean that they can be found at any time of the year and in large numbers.
