Description
Fistulactiphytea are a clade of succulent plants that grow in arid environments.
They are characterized by a thick trunk with deterrent spines and are topped by fistulas filled with fresh water and sweet oil. Depending on the species, these fistulas may have a different coloration. Many creatures make their nests in the cavities of the trunk and in the branches of the fistulas. They have a nice fragrance.
The species shown here is one of the most common ones that settle in the salty oases.
