3rd task Wardrobe for Corres' round in OC-training .
Corres is quite practical when it comes to his dressing choices (unless showing off his biceps to young recruits) and he is entirely ignorant about fashion whatsoever. All of his more fashionable outfit choices were made by Riel, most probably.

casual
"Mornin', mate! Slept well? Shouldn't have challenged me to a drinkin' contest last night..."
Corres' outfit of choice is a top tank, thick cotton pants rolled up to the half of his calves, and no shoes. The most comfortable set when spending half of your life aboard a ship cruising southern seas.

travel on sea
Dressed for rainy/cold weather. It's also a practical outfit for dire weather aboard a ship. The coat and boots are strengthened with a layer of natural rubber, precious material imported from southern Ekken.

formal aka "stop waving that damned blade"
You better don't let Corres to formal parties. For him, party has only one dimension: drinking until passing out (which means until the bright dawn), and having a shit ton of fun beforehand. He will dance, wave his saber, and get into drunk fights. And he will sing sailor songs. Very, very loudly.

training
"Look, kids, this is a sword. It's dull, so that you don't hurt yourselves with it before you learn how to use it... well, it will hurt anyway. So, you hit with the pointy end. Alrighty, that's enough talking. Who's first?"
For training, he doesn't like to wear full armor as it slows down his moves. He only puts on his favourite hardened leather breastplate and a few other crucial elements like spaulders, bracers and greaves.

travel on land
Probably preparing to leave for a special mission. (League of Talents is a special forces unit, so they get a lot of special missions). He doesn't wear anything too heavy, a gambeson and buff coat is perfectly enough for a long ride not involving armed skirmishes. (At least not planned ones.)

battle
"Alright, ladies, the training is over, time to test you in the battle. Don't come crying if you die."
Corres as a professional mercenary and experienced war veteran is skilled with a few weapons and fighting styles. In a battle involving a lot of close combat and a lot of troops he is usually given a two-handed sword, since he's strong enough to wield it. In this plate armor he becomes somewhat a live tank on the battlefield.
During the war, one of Corres' habits before the battle was "the last damn cigarette", because he never knew if he made it out of the battle alive
