Am I the only who’s hoping Anne actually does get character development and ends up becoming a better person by the end of the series, unlike how Star Butterfly and Mabel Pines never learned anything and remained just as self-centered as they were at the start of their respective shows?
Seriously though, I don’t get how we’re supposed to be rooting for the “Heroines of Disney” if everything they ever do is for nothing else but their own selfish desires, see what I mean?

Sorry for replying you here, but I decided to get back into Star VS The Forces of Evil despite the rushed ending and Starco being canon. After a while, it's hard to ignore a certain show and character you used to like a lot.
I've seen far worse endings, for example The Amazing World of Gumball ending ended on a huge cliffhanger. Sometimes, rushed endings are better than no endings. Sure, the ending of Star VS The Forces of Evil is heavily flawed, but atleast it ended on a good note unlike Gumball. I blame the horrible writing direction of Starco and Star's wrong choice to end the magic realm. But yeah, what Star did, wasn't the right choice, there could be other ways.
Sonic Underground also ended on a cliffhanger and still after 20 years, Sonic, Sonia and Manic never reunited with their mother Queen Aleena.
Besides, I don't want Amphibia to be the only modern Disney show of this decade to enjoy.

Oh yes, I can agree with you that Anne is a more interesting and better protagonist than Star ever was and I hope we get see more of Anne’s character development as the series progresses. I especially don’t like toxic and rabbid shippers who would argue and fight over their OTPs, especially Starco shippers. Oh well, at least we have FanFiction so that we can fix the problems we all had with the series finale of Star Vs. the Forces of Evil.

You’re right, having a central character who is Thai and seeing Thai Culture being represented in a cartoon is extremely nice for a change. Now I’m interested in learning more about Thai culture as well as drawing Amphibia fan art which involves Thai Culture, LoL.

Well, then let’s see if Anne will gain even more character development than she already is right now. Speaking of Anne, what would you think if she gets a potential love-interest at some point in the series (Not counting Sprig since I see him more as a little-brother like figure to Anne. Plus, can you honestly imagine what a romance between a human girl and a frog creature would be like?! 🤢🤮)
Watch the series finale of Star Vs. the Forces of Evil as well as the complaints the fans have been having about it and you’ll see what I mean.
