Description
1 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. 2 There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. 3 So Moses thought, "I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up."4 When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, "Moses! Moses!"
And Moses said, "Here I am."
5 "Do not come any closer," God said. "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground."

- Looks like this horse found its way to the bush before Moses did. Ha ha. (In other words, this is not Moses in horse form. lol It's simply a lovely desert-dwelling equine marveling at the Creator's aura.)
- =t-kitty originally requested a black Arabian horse. She got a little more than she bargained for.
- Hundreds of years ago, black Arabian foals were thought to be possessed by evil spirits. Therefore, the sheiks who bred them killed all black foals in order to eliminate the gene; this is why true black Arabians today are so rare.
- There really can be miracles when you believe.

I kinda figured that, but the thing that really reminded me of the Black is the way he holds himself.
sure most arabians have a certain aura that they hold around themselves but when I envision the Black, there is always something a little...well...different. I can't quite describe it but you were able to reproduce it right on the dot.

I'm not sure. I do know that Thoroughbreds were created using two Arabic breeds and one English breed of horses. If that works backwards we might be able to say that the Black has similiar ancestral blood to the Thoroughbred, maybe without the English blood.

No, they didn't make an animated movie out of it. Just real life looking. And it shows where Moses gets angry at them and how they walked for 40 years. I would never think of worshiping a statue, lol it's ridiculous and it never brings you anything.

I understand what you're saying, but through my years of high school before I graduated and the many people I've met who aren't Christians, say they hate God becuase their girlfriend/boyfriend dumped them, or they lost their job... stupid things, the same things that blame the President and the government for. Same reason why he have so many ridiculous Bush haters right now in Ameirca, becuase of their personal problems being blamed on him >_> I mean come on! And you drew one of my favorite scenes ;-; I still remember when I first saw it as a little girl, I don't think I really understand that the burning bush was actually God. I think you drew the Horse beautifully, and the scene is just beautiful in its own right. How appropriate for Easter <3
