I WAS GONNA GET SOMETHING DONE FOR MERMAY GODDAMMIT
So it's MerMay and I remembered this couple here: [OLD OLD ART WARNING]

Now I wound up actually splitting this couple with my fren WolfieGrrrl
Ephyna, the jelly mer, is the half that Wolfie took and I took the blue mer girl, and named her Naiara.
I updated their designs A LOT outfit wise, and completely for Naiara. I tried to keep Ephyna's colors accurate, but I was kinda missing some of the colors. Oops.
I wanted to draw them just...chilling I guess. Sorry for the weird colors :c
Naiara gives no shits and will absolutely snuggle up to Ephyna. Doesn't matter if she has stingers or anything, all that matters is the cuddles.
Ephyna seems happy to have her there. XD
And there's various sea life.

I need to draw these babs again asdhklf especially now that they've got some upgraded outfits! Ephyna loves to accessorize and I just adore what you've done with her look~ nvn AND I WILL NEVER GET OVER HOW BRIGHT AND COLORFUL NAIARA IS!!!!!
AND LOOK AT ALL OF THE ADORABLE SEA CRITTERS AROUND THEM AAAAAAAAAAH CARRYING ON ABOUT THEIR LIVES WHILE EPHYNA AND NAIARA ARE CAUGHT UP IN THIS SWEET MOMENT TOGETHER ;;3;; Those teeny fish friends thooooooooooough aasdhklf looking on curiously are so cuuuuuuute! Meanwhile, the teeny fishy that looks like the same type Naiara is based on is just like "? what's this?" pffffffff how precious~ The water also kind of looks to me like it's gently rippling as water tends to do asdhklf I don't know how to word but IT'S GOOD I LIKE IT
Naiara's braid also looks fabulous~ and I still love how floofy Ephyna's hair is asdhklf and how it just swishes around her >v<
Aaaaaah, Ephyna is self-conscious about her stingers because she doesn't want to accidentally hurt anyone (especially Naiara), so I'm just imagining that Naiara comes around looking for snuggles and Ephyna tries to wrap her hair around herself to shield her tentacles like she usually does, but Naiara just... gently brushes her hair out of the way and sidles on up like this because she doesn't care, she just wants to be close. >3< And Ephyna is absolutely happy to have her there~ Her beautiful fearless mer <3

I do really like Ephyna's colors too! And yeah, it was such a hard time trying to match. x.x
Plus my scanner was shitty too so...yeah. DIFFICULT TIMES ALL AROUND.

Naiara absolutely wants all the cuddles from her girlfren and is v v happy to get them.
Also, a decision was made about her which is why her eyes are different; she sort of has heat sensing or light sensing vision, I haven't decided which yet. So she's sort of half blind in a way. So 11/10 in favor of them meeting by Naiara just. Slamming into Ephyna's stingers and then just being like "omfg are you okay i'm so sorry" while she should be completely paralyzed. XD

I love doing mers and nagas because of how fun their poses can be. Admittedly mers give a bit more freedom than nagas because water, but still.
