History
In the ancient past, it was long believed a meteor struck the world, causing a mass extinction event of many prehistoric Pokémon. Within that same meteor was a legendary Pokémon that appeared from beyond the stars and made landfall in Lahgenias millions of years ago.

Terapagos now slumbers thousands of feet below the surface, incased in a shell of crystal tougher than diamond. No matter the amount of tectonic activity from other legendary Pokémon, the shell remained seemingly unbreakable. As it lied dormant beneath the earth, many crystals began to grow from its body over the centuries, slowly absorbing the energies of the ambient environment. These crystals would later become more abundant as time went on, becoming the many elemental stones and gems we see today.

Not many have dared to explore the depths of the world to find this Pokémon, but the ones who tried reported legendary gemstones aplenty, but also strange sightings of things that could only appear in dreams. Whether they were visual hallucinations or a part of Terapagos’s power is unclear, but the belief that there is a priceless treasure in the depths of the world remains strong in the hearts of many would-be explorers.

Extras/Fun Facts
With a little bit of discussion with Faela and Kira, here is the crystal turtle. Of note, the Unique type is not going to change to the Stellar type, as they’re fundamentally the same thing here. It creates typeless crystals that later become infused with elemental energy from the world around them. According to the Pokédex, Terapagos can absorb the power of Pokémon moves, so adding him in worked out well.

There isn’t a lot explained about it causing paradoxes to appear though. All we know is that Terapagos has this strange ability to use crystals to bring beliefs into reality. Time machines? Bringing people back from the dead? Changing type? It’s all up in the air. :’3

With Terapagos being a cosmic creature with wish-granting powers, a Jirachi may be his mediator. That is, if it ever decides to get out of bed, which it probably won’t do... unless a certain Crobat finds him first.

This Terapagos was based on the one I caught in Pokémon Violet. I named him Zodiark in that game though, and I know that's probably not gonna work for this setting.

He is free to use in your stories and cameos.
