So once upon a time there was a Sayaka contest at And so I started this for it but was rather lazy and now its waaaay too late lol

I thought it'd be cool to make a mermaid Sayaka. Since there's usually an association with music to Sayaka I made her a 'Siren', despite it's often sinister connotations. As Sayaka sings, the boats crash and are destroyed. They drop grief seeds for her to catch.
It's sort of like an AU where witches exist in boat form and Sayaka fights them by singing. The Witche's names are on the boat.

The musical score around her is from her theme, Decretum

Part of my inspiration of drawing her like a mermaid comes from , his mermaids are beautiful and I wanted to give it a shot. There really isn't a comparison in skill though xD"

I kind of want to make more mermagi but they're really hard x,x I wonder if I should...
