This is very well done! First off, I appreciate how you chose to represent this character. I always choose the darker, more psychotic Grell over the floosy, girly one the fandom has turned the character into. To get into the more technical aspects of this work, the coloring, the shading, it is all very appropriate to the character. He looks like he's about to mess someone up big-time! I think, that all in all, the realistic style in which you drew this is also an accurate take on the anime/manga representation. My only suggestion would be that you may not really need the black swirl/ivy pattern around the edge. The majority of it gets lost in the shadows, so you only see little pieces here and there on Grell's hair. Because of that, it doesn't really seem like a border. It just kind of looks like there's spots on the image. Other than that one minor thing, all in all I think you did an amazing job on this!

and yeaa I guess I didn't really need the border and it actually his the major parts of the hair that I did not. So I did replace it to the image without the border.

It's certainly striking in its portrayal of Grell, but seems to cast him in a more sinister light that I would normally attribute to the manga version of Undertaker. Such a sinister light doesn't normally fit Grell, given the fact that he is ultimately comic relief, but I do have to say that I like it, the painiting, I mean. The sinister air about it is sort of a downer, but certainly more than acceptable. The picture brings out his effeminate side very well, and accentuates his already crimson hair and his green eyes. He is sort of portrayed like a snake in this picture, and his razor sharp teeth add to the image of his darker side that perhaps I just missed. Over all, I love it.

Always glad to help. Grell is one of my favorite characters in Black Butler. He adds a bit of comic relief when so many of the other characters are so gloomy and dark.

Let me just start out by saying that the coloring is just amazing. i just looked at this pic and my mind was just blown away. the shadows and the effect of light and shade have been implemented with great caution and high accuracy. The shading on the hair is wonderful. each strand sort of stands and has its own mark. the shading on the eyes is impressive the glasses look real too and the nose is just amazing. lips amazing!U've done a wonderful job of bringing out the guy's feminine nature which he constantly shows in the anime!
But even though the pic os amazing, i feel that the shading done on the chest looks weird. it looks as though there is hair on the breast.And in the anime grel's tongue is much longer. normally i wouldnt criticize the tongue but in the anime this feature of grell stands out a lot. but of course dont extend it as much in the anime coz then u'll lose the sense of realism, just a bit more and i belive everything would've been perfect

I love how you did this! You chose the colors wonderfully and your shading is amazing. The eyes really stand out against the hair and the detail is pretty well made as well. The only thing I would suggest is maybe blur or smooth a few lines, there were a few bold ones that take a bit of the softness of the painting away...if that makes sense.

This is amazing! I really love your realistic take on Grell. I wouldn't want to run into this guy in a dark alley!
Two small things to consider:
1.) Glasses frame on the right side.
I feel like you're going on an angle from above, and drawing glasses, especially ones like Grell's in this case can be difficult. Watch the shape of the frame and lenses, and try to match them as best as you can. Also watch to see where the arm of the glasses stems from and goes to.
2.) Ascot legs that are shaded
I felt like you wanted to capture light and shadow with this part, and you certainly did! If stands out very well. However, you may want to take a piece of the same material for yourself and make it move so you can see how it works. It looks like the top most part of the ascot legs are glued to his chest, and then there's a strange angle to it.
Keep drawing on! I love the fact that you could bring him to life in such vivid color!
