I wasn't criticizing historical accuracy. I was criticizing the feasibility and functionality of the design. I use "history" to name examples, because well, the most realistic armor designs tend to come from real life. After all, this is featured in the True-Armored-Women group, so I'm sure this is a valid critique. I'd be doing a disservice if I didn't point out potential issues with your art.

Like I said, I paint fantasy art, not historical art. I know how medieval armor worked (I may be dumb but I'm not uneducated). I just don't care because I do not paint realistic art. I paint what I feel is fun to paint, and if I paint a gorget one day it requires me to have a special gorgety mindset.
Replicating something in art is dull. Some enjoy doing it, I sure don't.

I like this, the detail. If I might say something: I find the armor on her leg a little big and makes her leg to look too manly in comparison with her body proportions and face.
