Reynold is a slightly smaller than average Sylveon in both height and weight. He is always seen wearing a violet (#EE82EE ) scarf and a small blue (#004080) pouch that he keeps fastened around his torso. He is a normal colored Sylveon, but his fur is a bit fluffier around his ears and tail.
DispositionAlways cheery and animated, Reynold is always looking for his next adventure. The Sylveon absolutely hates to be alone, so he takes time to chat and make friends with every Pokemon he meets, leaving his responsibilities for the elusive “later”. While he loves to talk, he will listen to anyone who needs someone to talk to, and goes out of his way to help (sometimes even if he shouldn’t).
Reynold gets bored easily, so he’s always looking for something new and exciting to do. He tries to make everything he does as fun-filled as he can, whether he’s working or just going about his day. The Sylveon also has a bit of a witty side, constantly joking around with friends and sometimes pulling some pranks. He means these to be absolutely harmless, so if Reynold ever ends up hurting someone, he apologizes over and over, to the point of being told he no longer needs to.
However it’s not all sunshine and rainbows for Reynold. When he’s confronted with aggression or criticism, he shuts down, and stays that way for hours. When he’s like that he only focuses on what he’s told to do, and barely speaks. Although, once he’s through with this mood, he’s back to his adventurous and free-spirited self.
HistoricallyBrought up being on the wealthier side of things, from a young age Reynold was told to behave himself and act proper. He was put into homeschooling as soon as possible and didn’t get too much of a chance at an early childhood. However, being the independent free-thinker he is, Reynold always longed to get out and do his own thing.
He would sneak out often, at first just walking around and taking in the sights, sounds, and smells. All the other kids around thought he was a bit strange though, and he resigned to being by himself for long periods of time.
Reynold would often be caught not doing his schoolwork, procrastinating, and just living in his own world. This would result in him getting yelled at, told if he didn’t do what he was supposed to that he would amount to nothing, and sometimes attacked. After the many times this happened, he spent his early teens in a daze. A daze that comes back every so often now when he feels scared.
Once he felt ready enough, Reynold metaphorically packed his bags and slipped into the night, never returning home. It was hard being on his own, but he finally felt free. He relied on the goodwill of others for a year or so, and redeveloped his love of the outdoors and he blossomed into the intense extrovert he is today.
TrivialHe enjoys picking up anything he deems interesting, from rocks to coins, and stuffing them into his pouch, resulting in a huge collection of random junk.
He survived spending two years on his own by helping anyone out with any problems they may have in turn for food and shelter. Sometimes he just helped people for free and went on his way.
His violet scarf and his pouch are the only things Reynold has left of his original home.
Reynold joined the Couriers because he felt that was the best way for him to help and get to know all the Pokemon in the area. He also aspires to become a journalist.
Despite not being a Ranger, he identifies strongly with their care of the environment.
When he is having an off day he goes walks away from the Guild and explores everything there is to explore.
