Personality: Mystic is a sagely person, who offers his best advice to those who seek his counsel. While he is a patient person, as Grand Council Leader of Aetheria, he's become more and more irritable due to all the work he's put himself through to make his birthplace a better planet for its inhabitants. He gets irritated by those who just want to get famous.

Age: Mystic is over one hundred million, eleven thousand and thirty six years old.

Description: Mystic wears a druid's robe, teal in color, but underneath that robe is actually a full suit of armor with a base color of teal, with the trim around the leggings and the gauntlets being white and the trim around the chest armor being gold. On the gauntlets are a pair of retractable claws which he uses to fight enemies and scale up walls, and the metal feet of the armor are also designed to help him scale walls. His eyes are white with violet irises, and he has long black hair, which is tied up in a long, flexible metal cylinder.

Biography:

Mystic Infinitus was born on the planet Aetheria as the first of three children of the woman known only by her last name Infinitus and her husband Mantis. It was because he was the first born that he gained much praise, with people saying he would be the one to bring light to the darkened lives they led, what with Xel'Theraval being a constant threat to Aetheria. He was constantly asked to be tutored by many professional wizards and sorceresses, even druids, few of whom just wanted to get closer to the family, which Mantis deplored, even try to become quasi-famous just by being associated with them. It irritated Mystic, and he eventually strayed away from his tutors.

At the age of ten, Mystic was already being hyped up as this "great savior", as Infinitai's power and life began to diminish slightly, which was discovered by rather nosy "investigators". He didn't like the hype, but being a kid, he just went with it; he even got gifts from the celebrations. However, he was sheltered by Mantis and Infinitus due to a few attempts on the boy's life.

As Mystic approached eighteen years of age, his brother Vectus ran away, and it filled the elder brother with regret. He knew why Vectus ran away; it was because of all the fame he received, and it pained him to know his brother was so jealous of him. Knowingly, he decided to make himself appear to the entire world as a creature so he could re-unite with Vectus and hopefully make things right. Unfortunately, the spell worked too well; he ended up turning himself into the form of an ancient creature feared in olden times, the name of which, in Latin, was called Monstrum Omega. People ran in fear from him; even his parents couldn't reverse this curse he'd laid on himself.

This plan ended up backfiring on him, because when the two brothers met again, Vectus responded with cold, harsh words. Vectus saw his brother's rather strange attempt at making himself appear less in the eyes of the public to get his attention as "pathetic" and "just foolish". Mystic tried to explain, but Vectus simply left, not wanting anything to do with his own brother anymore. It truly hurt; Mystic found himself feeling so alone, until one woman found him on a cold, lonely night: Terra Tellara.

The two became friends on first sight, and Mystic soon found himself enveloped in a rather warm light. When it faded, he'd been reverted to normal. The spell he'd cast on himself was, in fact, a curse that could only be dispelled by true love.

Several years later, the two of them became lovers, and wanted to marry. However, before they could, they were captured by servants of the ancient Nilatherim demon, who wanted to turn these two into the demon's own personal generals. The Infinitus family, as well as Caine, tried their best to save them, until Infinitus herself sacrificed herself to seal the demon away and save her son and Terra. This action caused Mystic, Terra and No-Face, formerly Vectus, to go hurtling through space...

When he came to, he found himself on Mar'Agrionia, the former desert Sylenxian colony. It was here he was met by the black-hearted (at the time), yet action-loving Tolboraht, and the two of them became rivals until Mystic finally bested him in a duel. The pirate asked Mystic to kill him, but he refused, explaining there was no sense in killing a man who still had a dream to accomplish. Tolboraht and Mystic became good friends, and the pirate eventually helped him get back to Aetheria, where Mystic would spend the next few years. Mystic stopped aging at thirty-four.

Mystic ended up re-uniting with Terra, but when he saw his brother again in a bar on Tal'Quorum, the Commerce Planet, and former Sylenxian colony of old, he had become so cold, distant....almost emotionally dead. For the first time in years, they talked, and finally Mystic told him everything. All he got was this:

"Perhaps I may have been wrong to misjudge you the way I did. But the past is the past. I still hate you, and nothing will change that."

Mystic and his brother rarely talked, nor met that much anymore after that. Over the next one hundred million years, he established his own military force to assist the Aetherian Hunter-Killers: the United Inter-Dimensional Military, which was comprised of humans and several humanoid alien species from across the multi-verse. He appointed two people to be his acting generals: Straza and Crowthorne, the latter of whom would end up vanishing. However, one night, he received a transmission from Enigma concerning Shuyin, and took a leave of absence from the U.I.D.M., allowing Caine to take control until many years later, when the same military he tried to control turned against him.

Mystic learned his lesson from this mistake when he became Grand Council Leader of Aetheria, and now he spends the majority of his days trying to pass many different laws to make the planet a better place. His workaholic attitude has distanced himself from his own wife Terra, who has gone on her own crusades of justice. Mystic longs to be free from this job, and fight the good fight again. For now, he works politically to ensure his planet's safety.

Quote: "What is hell? Well, I wouldn't know, cause I've never been there. But I've seen enough to know it exists here among us. We just have to keep our heads up and walk through the flames."

Abilities:

Monstrum Omega: Still brandishing the curse, Mystic can turn into this creature, gaining increased maneuverability, speed and strength.

Elemental Fusion: Much like his son Shuyin, Mystic can fuse elements together to create powerful new attacks.

Infinity Seal (Forbidden Magic): Mystic will temporarily seal away a person's abilities to attack or cast magic for a time. He will only use this when close to death.

Phase Shift: Mystic can turn utterly Ethereal, rendering physical attacks useless.

Dimension Distortion: Mystic can temporarily alter the space around his opponents and himself, altering the battlefield.

Cyclone: Mystic can summon a powerful cyclone to tear up his enemies and the battlefield.

Transformation: Mystic can turn into different animals, like a bear or an eagle, etc. to assist in combat or to scout.

Aether Blast: Mystic can concentrate a great deal of Aether energy into his hands and unleash it in a destructive burst.

Tranquil Rain: Mystic can summon a peaceful rain shower, which heals his wounds and cures diseases.

Aether Roots: Combining his Aether powers and his druidic powers, Mystic can entangle his enemies in magical roots, which drain away at their magic.
