Thanks a lot for all the favorites.
I used a fiberglass brush and a hobby knife to draw it. Then I colored it with ampersand inks.

Absolutely beautiful. She looks so pensive, like she's watching something. The blue eyes are intense and beautiful. The darkening of the fur on her backside would make more sense if the object casting the shadow where there - like the leaves from the reference picture. I know you are under a lot of pressure to get work done, and you have done a phenomenal job under that pressure. I love the dark backgrounds on your scratch boards, though in this one I think the addition of the leaves would add to it. But once again I bow to you and your well-earned talent!

All of this has kind of been experimental for me. I still suck at colors, but I think I'll eventually get the hang of it if I keep practicing. I want to get some boards on the island with me since I find all this muse when I should be studying instead!
