went back to my normal, time consuming, meandering way of drawing, which is very rough and inefficient, but much more fun for me during the process! I wanted to draw someone who people put on a pedestal and dump their problems on, but at any sign of trouble is also the first person the people blame and hurt for falling short of their expectation.

Conceptually I think this piece is BRILLIANT. I can see the implications of status and the obligations as well as the double edged side to grandeur. I find this to be an amazing well thought out piece. Not only that but color palette and lighting only further enhance to the concept itself. This honestly has to be one of my all time favorite pieces of artwork
