Long time no hi-res.
With all the turbulence in my life I forget what I want to fill my artworks with. Not silly jokes but warmth and harmony.
No place like home. Familiar smell, familiar things, the sun with specs of dust dancing slowly in it's rays. Childhood. Slow, better days.
Oh yeah, I'm re-reading Hobbit at the moment so I'm filled with this mood. ^__^ Real life drawing, so to say.

Such a comfy, content drawing! So much warmth!
Every once in a blue moon, I go out of my way to drive by my childhood home. It brings back so many memories. I want to just pull over and reminisce for a while, but don't want to creep out the people living there now.
[thinking to self] Should I mention an error I noticed in the drawing? I don't want to offend or discourage him from creating his beautiful artwork. It would probably be best that I just keep it to myself. After all, it's such a miniscule detail, most people probably would never notice. Yeah. That's the best choice. [/thinking]

Goodness, you'll give me a heart attack! I have a terrible fear of uploading something that would miss a tail or a horn or CM or such. I re-check everything a dozen times. I so hope you mean "there's no sun in Nickel Cape" Well, this one was more like Eri in real world. Or did you mean something else? >_<

Well . . . . I mean, it's really no big deal. Probably not even worth mentioning. Just that I, um, noticed a little physics detail out of place. But, uh, if you really want to know, I guess I can tell you, [deep inhale] takingintoaccountthedistanceofthesunfromearthtotherelationshipofdistanceofobjectsintheroom,thatshadowswouldbecastparalleltoeachother,ratherthanradially. . . . . . . . . . . .
I mean, if that is if you don't mind.

These voices again... I think I'm going crazy
Ok, seriously, that's ok. It's one of many flaws. Some I notice later and so I can't fix them in time unless I take a week for every drawing to cook it. Like Eri's proportions and symmetry. Or perspective. I'm just so askew. >_< Some I kinda let be. This shadow was added in PS so it was very quick and non-physical. I noticed it too but since I didn't even put all the shadows to not overload the image I let it be.
I know such little things make me amateur. I let too much slide and then when it's necessary I probably won't be able to make things right. Oh well, that's why I call my artworks sketches.
But thanks for noticing, I need to hear of my flaws to reduce the paranoia, to stop thinking "why nobody says anything bad?! Is it because they pity me? Because what I do is 5 year old level and I'm allowed to have fun?". I can't help it, I'm still very nervous when I upload something.
It's a bit sad, I run from stress to art and art becomes even more stress.
