Description
TUMBLRAn overdue commission for A digital sketch of a trainer and three Pokemon of choice: Hydreigon, Salazzle and Sylveon.
I've drawn this character before with the same Hydreigon . I believe it was maybe a year and half ago. Kinda cool to see the improvement. I tweaked the Hydreigon design a bit and gave it claws on the wings. I think it makes it more beastly, somehow more convincing as well, and gives the wings some more structure in a way.
The poses and expressions were fun to work on. I think I also managed to make the composition look a bit more interesting and less "all over the place" as well than last time.
Someone is going to ask anyway so: yes, the Sylveon has tentacles in place of the ribbons.

I think I actually remember that username! I haven't done DPfM sessions in a long time but I hope I can start doing them again at some point. Life just got so busy at some point that some things just dropped. But hopefully I can continue doing them again, they're so much fun. :>

I like your take on Sylveon, especially the ribbons to tentacles bit. If you ask me, the official art for Sylveon looks like a bleached Eevee that's been dolled up for a cuteness contest (and not the good kind either).
And of course Salazzle, Hydreigon, and the trainer all look fantastic as well.

The tentacle idea was originally Laurosaurus' so that credit goes to her! I mostly gave her a few suggestions about how to kinda refine it and work it more to produce this result. Glad you like it!

Damn, I definitely love how the Hydreigon's design has evolved (pun intended). I especially enjoy the more skull-like heads, I always thought this sucker looked a lot like the Stallord boss from Twilight Princess, which is what I always name mine. This just has me further convinced that Stallord was a Hydreigon before it died.
