Description

Curtain stone wall around the Old Aelfsdreim, during the FIve Warring Kingdoms Period (circa 2130 a.a.H)

After the anti-elven revolts of the 2091 a.a.H, caused due the continuation (or perceived continuation) of ancient elven religious practices, numerous grey elves decided to convert to Christianity in the northwestern aelian kindgdoms, which will originate a community of newly converted christian elves, but who continued to be discriminated legally and socially.

To try to keep apart and limit the contact between the newly conversed christian elves and the pagan elves, among the Five Kingdoms were established measures to isolate the non-christian elves in elferies after the Council of Karentia of 2108, being segregated them in new elferies, many of which will last until the third war of the power.

Aelfsdreim, while initially a grey elven settlement, had for long a majority population of grey elves, that due the new anti-elven revolts lead to an increase immigration of Grey elves from Degoland, half-elves, and as well human settlers, who beganΒ to build their homes outside of the walls of Aelfdreim, to conduct trade and business with the elves of Aelfdreim.

While late comers, the human immigrants began to demand the better lands for their own settlement, and there were disputes, in which the Barons of Hanat at first defended the rights of elves. This resulted in the human settlers ask for royal support to the King of Degoland, who demanded the Baron of Hanat to impose the new laws regarding the creation of Elferies.

Elves, formerly living in farms along the region, where ordered to move into Aelfsdreim, and the growing city replaced the old palisades with stone walls. While elven farmers close to Aelfsdreim where able to keep tending their land, other of more distant farms couldn't, and these farms came to human hands.

Outside of the walls of Aelfsdreim, began to develope a human hamlet, that will be known as Mensendreim.Β

For tech, I think the later iteration, with the taller houses, would look a bit more like it!
