So... my first official use of a stock reference: [link] by mjranum-stock. I wanted to try some realism this time.This is an original character of mine; a modern day ninja named Maia Higurashi. I'm keeping her story to myself for now, because one of my friends made fun of how I worded my synopsis of her story.
In one hand is the sword of her new life, but in her other hand she stares nostalgically at flowers that remind her of everything she's lost to be part of this life. I picked the flowers based on their meanings.
absinth: signifies separation and torment
forget-me-nots: self explanatory
purple hyacinth (grape): sorrow
zinnia: remembering absent friends
snowdrop: hope
The mediums I've used are B and 2B pencils.
Due to the fact that there is a lot of fan art here; I'm clarifying that this ninja has nothing to do with any anime, including Naruto.

I'd say you did a fantastic job on this one, the depth the the shading is really sweet. Also the level of detail is wicked, that and I really like her sword and you know how much of a nut job I am for weaponry. ^^
