Description Fabricated out of sterling silver & fire-treated glass.
Portrait of a friend.

“The Fang” – Stamped with a line from a remarkably relevant poem, it says, “4 the golden fleece of nothing(ness)”. “For” didn’t fit, so truncated it millennial-style. The “ness” of nothingness didn’t fit, so I stamped it cryptically on the front, where it makes no sense out of context (like most things in my life), where it looked terrible and I’m going to redo it when I get my hands on those letter stamps to give it another go. The full line is, For the golden fleece of nothingness your last prize.

Pretty hilarious, given the state of the ring. So postmodern it hurts.

“The Perch” – Apollo’s tear. A drop of yellow alien blood. A golden pear from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Not ‘a drop of urine’, that’s disgusting, but I’m sure someone saw this and thought that.

“The Ring” – Ouroboros at the base, a serpent eating its own tail, relevant to the poem. A bunch of pyramid spikes. A blazing red jewel that changes the colors around it when light passes through, mostly inaccessible in the rib cage of the pyramid. “Aw, just like your heart,” someone coos. Yes, just like her heart. Geeze.
