Yeesh! Three to four days trying to get this done!!

So, I decided to draw out redesigns, some that was intended for the now cancelled 'DC Sesationals' and some...more or less just made up on the spot.

So, here they are:

Starfire and Blackfire:
So, the deal with their hair is that it's a star themed afro.
Kinda made it too big and a bit 'Tina Turner' and Blackfire wasn't a sketch, so I drew her to join Star and I intended hers to be more 'spikey Marge Simpson' but looked a bit identical.
You guys might like it regardless.

Reason for the star themed afro was to be different when I redesigned Starfire.
In fact, the trails of fire/light and still be a thing, like a shooting star.

Mr.Mxyzptlk:
Not much to say really except it's my take on the Superman foe and not much different...
except for having him turn more threatneing and have darker monsterous forms to take on Superman, but I didn't have time to draw them all.

The Riddler:
Now, I had a backstory for my DCSU take on the Riddler and that he was once a game show host that turned to villainly when his show got cancelled due to him being having an outburst live on TV when a contestant won his deliberatly impossible riddles. My take was 'eccentric game sho host', and that's what I went for.
Sad it never materialised but at least it's drawn here...

Scarecrow:
My take on a Scarecrow costume is that he wears a WWII gas mask and a pilgrim costume.
Retrosepect, it wasn't as great an idea for a look as I hoped...

Red Hood:
This airsoft tactical mask inspired this look.

I thought it looks cool for Jason to wear and more fearsome and intimidating!
I'm quite pleased with how it turned out in the end!

Mr.Terrific:
I went with the more known Michael Holt take and I had this idea for the DCSU before I cancelled it.
That Mr.Terrific is a child genius that, using hacking skills, contacts the heroes and their supporting cast to help them out from afar.
Wouldn't be quite a supporting and important minor character in the grand scheme of things...

Nightwing:
I tried to create an 'urban' look to the charatcer by giving him sunglasses and a jacket. There were brown army boots but didn't draw them. What do you think, does it look cool or is it not really great?

Atom:
Originally, I wanted to draw out a realistic, tactical mask wearing Green Arrow but I didn't, and found other redesigns done something similar so I was stumpted. I even wanted to draw a more 'aquatic/human hybrid' Aquaman, but I was stumped on that too.
In the end, I gone with Atom and drawn a more sci-fi explorer like look to the Atom and chose the Ryan Choi rendition because I want to be more modern.
I know I didn't draw him fully, but I do imagine him having a blue utility belt that has a button in the middle to shrink up and down (maybe even grow to a giant) and plus jets on his boots and the back for the chest armour to fly.
Also, a blaster pistol against foes.

Wonder Woman:
Well, I was unsure how to redesign something as iconic as Wonder Woman, but I did. inspired by ancient greek armour, I drawn Diana this way, has more gold and red rather than red, blue and gold, gave her a helmet and sandels so she technically goes barefoot.
The designs...rather basic as it could be any random Amazonian warrior really. It was a good idea but...well, sometimes ideas can't be executed right msot of the time...
I did have ideas of WW in the DCSU before it's cancellation., though probably not like that...

Green Lantern:
I didn't expect this, but I drawn Green Lantern, but as a genderbent version of John Stewart.
For the DCSU, I didn't plan on GL to be a founding member but a member later on.
In fact, there were two ideas...
One idea is that it's Jessica Cruz where she's an astronaut but finds hereslef a space medieval green knight type of Green Lantern (the DCSU take)
Another, was that it came from a green comet and the GL was an OC girlfriend of the Flash (Bart Allen) called Jasmine Hayes.
So, compared to most Flashes and GLs that are best friends, this GL would've been a girlfriend of the Flash.

None of these ideas were a genderbent John though...
I don't really know WHY I gone ahead and done that, but...it happened.
But it was a happy accident mind you since I love this Green Lantern one and my fav next to Red Hood and Riddler.
Gave her a visor and armour to be more 'space cop' and dotted the corp logo everywhere.
Kinda wished I thought of this idea in the first place but...as a tank engine once said: Better Late Than Never...
