Description
Auratlas is looking pretty Greek to fit the Atlas theme and is now a pokemon with a gimmick to match in an attempt to distinguish the different Ground types of Bretlan from each other. Unlike some (Regigas, Slaking i'm looking at you) I tried to make Auratlas' gimmick more functional and even after its limiting ability kicks in i'd like to think the stat spread means it's still a useable pokemon.
Calforce are scrappy young pokemon, built of solid muscle. Easily able to lift great weights they quickly roll a solid ball of earth and rock, a status symbol among these pokemon and a weapon in battle. Despite their young age these pokemon are capable of defending themselves from attackers thanks to their physical prowess and as coveted members of a larger herd of Hercalf and Auratlas are nigh untouchable.
Hercalf are just as solidly muscled as their younger counterparts but with a more even distribution, making these pokemon increasingly nimble. The ball they rolled as a young Calforce is added to continually, making it a more prominent weapon and elevating the individuals status among the herd. As an added effect the increasing weight of the earth ball serves as a constant workout, honing its physique.
Auratlas have immense physical strength, contributed to over time thanks to their enormous earth ball. If one could be convinced to abandon its earth ball, even temporarily, it could lift pretty much anything and trained Auratlas are employed in construction and were used to transport cargo prior to the popularity of motor vehicles. Aside from throwing its earth ball in battle it will use its mighty horns to launch its opponent too.
(Auratlas' earth ball really should be bigger, maybe as much as 50% bigger)
