Once upon a time I wished to be an astronomer. The dark of night was my only joy. Light from a thousand diamonds was washed out by the glow of a thousand cold homes. Once more the sky takes hold, in its rightful place as king.

Pretty often actually but I lived in the city so the view was always tainted.
From your own thoughts; I wish I had been able to see the stars clearly enough to get that feeling. The solitude was there but faded by the proximity of humanity.
