Frozen, Midas watched Yan move his new arm around as if he’d always had it on him, as if he was just born with it. The cheers of the crowd and Olive’s speech we’re quite distant to his ears as he thought of the possibilities and chances this new tech could bring to the world. Especially what this new tech could bring to him. He barely could remember a time when his arms were functional, knowing he could have them back made his mind spin.

He finally came out of his stupor when his friend Sho-kau pushed him a bit. ‘’He’s taking Questions and comments Midas!! Stop looking like a peekadee and go have a chance at it!’’ she pushed him again towards the stage, and he almost fell to the ground. He heard her briskly apologize between some other excited words too quick for him to understand completely.
The young Midas looked back at the overly excited undyre. It all felt so weird, so sudden. The real possibility of him finding his arms again was intoxicating, knowing how many mainlanders and undyres alike could benefit from this technology felt sureal, and Sho-kau was just her own normal self about it. Or maybe he was just too used to her daily excitements to notice her current overly enthusiastic frenzy of today.

Midas tiptoed towards the busy clergyman trying to find a spot near him, as he was surrounded by others who all seemed to have as many questions as him; especially Morgan who bombarded the elder man with so many, one couldn’t expect answering it all in one single breath. He listened to the whole of it still, equally fascinated by the answers Yan told the masses.
Finally, after a torrent of questions by the whole lot of excited curios, Yan looked down and saw the tiny mainlander. Midas, mind running with questions, had trouble finding his words; "Y-Yan mister,, sir? " He tried to find a better way to talk, the language was still so unfamiliar to him, and even Sho-kau’s teaching didn’t help with his running mind. " …Is this…Tech… advanced enough for the whole of curiokind?" He paused a moment, hoping his broken words found their meanings in the undyre’s mind " It’s not just for show right? The whole lot seems very fancy; will it be available for everyone in need of it? Or if the blueprints would be available for everyone?"

Sho-kau finally jumped near him, very much too overly excited to be able to wait for Midas to find his words. "He wants new arms see! That’s what you want right?" She didn’t wait for Midas to stop her "That’s what he wants!" Midas certainly did not want to be selfish about it, even if she was very much so right about it. Still, he was very curious if the tech would be available to all, Olive did seem cautious of mainlanders and he feared his little flame of hope would burn out as soon as it came to life.
