This is a wonderfully surreal scene, one that would even seem quixotic. The shading and the composition of this piece is one that immediately draws the eye to it and allows for further contemplation about the background of the work. Simply, majestically beautiful.

Reminds me a lot about The Life of Pi (a gorgeous movie!). The way you oppose the grandeur of the underwater life to the idyllic scene on the surface is simply majestic!

This reminds me of my childhood, when I would look at any body of standing water and see things beneath the surface.Β It was much scarier then then this...I wish I could have had the imagination to think of things like this then, I'd have learned how to swim a hell of a lot sooner.Β XD
