How amusing. I do that too. However I do go all the way to lumiose. I just rise back and forth on the long stretch of land in front of the breeding center. It is between Cmphrier Town and the caves to the west.

Haha, this fits how I breed my PokΓ©mon for completing the PokΓ©dex. I had a Talonflame in X and a Volcarona in AlphaSapphire for breeding, cycling around Lumiose City or the Battle Resort.

I literally do this all the time I breed for Pokemon in Pokemon X. XD
Cept, now in ORAS, I use my Chandelure or Volcarona to help me hatch eggs faster as I bike laps around the Battle Resort. XP

If a Pokemon makes physical contact with a Pokemon with Flame Body, then there is a chance that the attacking Pokemon will be burned.Β
It also serves as a good incubator for hatching Pokemon eggs. Carry a Pokemon with Flame Body and it'llΒ half the number of steps required to hatch a Pokemon egg.Β

Sorry I don't know if you know this due to how your comment sounded (I didn't either until I played the Black and White games) but the basics of the this: You go and fill your party with Eggs, up to 5, and in 1st spot for pokemon number six, you have a pokemon with the ability Flame Body or Magma Armor. These abilities halve the number of Egg Cycles it takes for each Egg to hatch, in X and Y that's 257 steps per cycle. Some pokemon have REALLY high Egg Cycle counts (like Bulbasaur at 5140, but with a PokΓ©mon like Talonflame you've only got about 2570 Egg Cycles to complete, or 660,490 steps versus a whopping 1,320,980 steps.) It's great when breading pokemon for specific abilities or hidden abilities or for looking for Shinies if chaining them doesn't work for you. Some people like X and Y because in Lumios City at the center you can literally ride a bike for hours in circles by placing a coin just under the circle pad and you'll be able to hatch eggs without a worry. Just wanted to point this out in case you didn't know, because it can make the game much easier. Happy Hatching!
