Here is a very late drawing in honor of the Beauty and the Beast 3D. This was my favorite childhood movie, I even dressed as Belle for Halloween for 5 yrs. (Back when the Disney costumes actually looked like the ones in the movie, not the crappy ones out now.)Due to school I had little time to work on it so it took a little over a month. I know the picture is not that good, but seen it in person makes the time spent well worth it.
Done with india ink and watercolor

I wonder why the story of the Beast Origin was told buy a stain glass like that because would the actual event be to dark for children?

I don't think children see it that way. I think its just captivating, mysterious, and beautiful. I saw this movie many times as a child, it was my repeat movie. 20+ yrs later, I do not get a hint of darkness in the intro.Β

Thank you again. But, still would love for everyone to really appreciate the smaller details. But seeing how people regardless still appreciate it, makes feel happy. But I will still later on upload a better quality picture. A friend of my Mom's gave me tips to get the picture just right.

I couldn't agree more. And I don't know if you have seen it in 3D, but the already beautiful dance scene was breath taking in 3D. It was well worth it.

Well they just got out the BLU-RAY on 3D (only for 3D TVs) and on January 13 Disney re-released it in 3D in Theaters. So some movie theaters might still be showing it.

sadly we in Serbia do not have that version of tv(not that good tvs), but anyway it seems really cool to me.
One more thing, I wish that there were more men like Adam(beast) in reality.

Me too I wish there was an Adam in real life.
He was willing to set Belle free and risk staying Beast in order for her to be free and be with her father. Also I loved how he gave the library to her as a present, knowing her love for books, I just thought it was sweet.

I don't now why they hate him. Well I kinda get it, you fall in love with the Beast with his character and the he changes. But he is the same person, just looks different.
