- the sun wakes you up
you get up
you lay down again
you wake up
the sun disappeared
fifty two weeks project
last week was okay. I had the whole week off and I spent three days with Nina and we got a babycat for her. she's so adorable.
and I had a great evening with ~Sarinsky and another Nina (
) and lots of fun while shooting Katharina.but, I procrastinated all the time, I didn't do anything for school, that's why I had lots of stress the past two days.
I am so exhausted right now and it's only monday. maths exam tomorrow and I don't know anything. on a positive note, I'll have some free time when I handed in the exam after 10 minutes. yeah okay that's not really positive.
sometimes I hate my life or rather what I'm doing or rather what I'm not doing.
as for the location, I'm shooting a lot there at the moment because it's so beautiful. and all the leaves turned orange and yellow and red and I love love love that. I'm afraid that autumn will be over too soon and that I cannot take enough pictures.
I'd like to spend half of my days there, I could fall asleep there.

I find the idea and look of this photo to be very intriguing, it's concept would seem to suggest to me that place between between asleep and awake, that strange borderland where dreams truly seem like a reality, and you seem caught in the most beautiful moments of peace. Or perhaps it is just the idea of peaceful sleep, dreaming in one of those beautiful places that the soul searchers for when free of the cares of the day, a place we can't stay in when we are awake and is so often impossible to find most times even in sleep. I like the use of purple for the canopy, it's colour bold and strongly contrasted to the golden foliage and brown forest floor, and I think it eludes to the specialness of the moment in the image. The light on the hair is also very nice, the kiss of the sun lighting up the hair. I think that it is a fantastic concept and the photo came out brilliantly.

I think you are an amazing photographer and I have just spent two hours looking at your pictures. In the end I chose two as my favorites: this is one - I love the crazy idea and how beautiful and serene it looks. I really like some of the crazy things you have done to get a great photo, like taking a giant cushion out in the snow or a pile of books and laptop to the woods. You imagination in creating these shots is superb - Wunderbar!
