This year it's 25 years ago that I started my own website: 4F-creations.com.

It all started when I was cleaning up some bad scans and re-posted those, around 1996, in the "wrong" newsgroup (dainews.nu which quit this year). There was no Twitter, no Instagram, Facebook, tiktok, Kardashians, ai, "influencers" or even a DeviantArt. You had 'Yahoo' and 'geocities' and a few others but that was it (as far as I can recall).
The owner of that celebrity newsgroup liked what I did and asked me if I wanted him to host my images and I said after some thinking 'yes'.

It was, hmm, quite expensive if I remember correctly, but ok, back then I ran a nice freelance airbrush-photoretouch company, so I could handle the costs.
But as my expertise"" in website building grew, tables, lots of tables (CSS wasn't even known by me back then), I wanted stuff done that my webmaster Dai had no time for. So after 2 years it was time to say goodbye to my first ever website host and start my own website on a new one.

That was in the summer of 1998. We've done some milage since then on a pretty rocky road but we're luckily still around.

Above you can find a collection of some of the things I did between 1998 and 2000. There is some nice stuff in there, also a lot of..., Hmm, well lets say, I didn't know any better, back then.
