Description I really liked the shadow and the street musician, but the Borders sign pretty much ruined it for me. Well, at least it wasn't an Abercrombie & Fitch poster or something.

I don't mind the borders sign... but I did notice it first... ugh..

I too love the the shadows ... and I love the texture of the granite on the building.

I do like the shadows too.. for me the borders sign do fit with the picture, because he's playing music... (borders - books, MUSIC, movies, cafe)..

I like it.

I know what you mean about the Borders sign. I've had so many of my own photos that have been ruined from little things like that. This one of yours still works though. The way the shadows are and such, it creates borders in a way...if you look at it like that, it gives the sign a purpose in a way

i think the borders sign works.'
its significant to the line between the watchers and the subject.
between the lights and the shadow
between the realities and dreams.
between the world of propaganda --pre-occupation with entertainment
between the plastic wrapped items sold inside the borders
and the stride and strife of a street musician.
it would actually be a good title...Borders.
