You know, I loved reading all the comments here. And looking at it objectively--the palette is muted, soft and understated; yet out of the corner of the frame comes a burst of wild color and a stern gaze, contrasting the rest of the piece. There's just a mild surprise in her expression. She's comfortable in her surroundings: straight back, chin up, steady gaze. I can see why you like it. You did wonders with this, Reuben.
Let's do it again.

I used to have a vary thin body but, now have that kind of body, much older now, but still feeling good about myself

Great! I believe that no matter what your body type - tall, short, thin, fat, dark, light, whatever - You should feel good, or strive to feel good about who and how you ARE.
People I know who try to change their body types in one way or another tend to be unhappy even when they reach their goals. It's a negative reinforcement thing. I know far more who are happy with themselves as they are and while they wish to be healthy it's more about how they feel than how they look.

Thank you! This one was tricky because of the severe difference between the light lights and the dark darks. It's one of the most contrasted paintings I've made and therefore the texture really stood out.

Thank you! I took a chance on pushing the colors so far to the blues on this one but I'm happy with the way it came out. I had to let go a bit and just enjoy the color!

The way she looks back at you makes you feel caught looking, plus the poster on the wall stands a lot, so it gives me an awkward felling, you know like "I was just, er, nevermind".
