I like the idea in this pic and the mood it conveys. The one Christmas tree that brightens everything up in a remote place far off the city lights. It somehow reminds me of a Christmas commercial of a certain company selling soft drinks. But only in the way that Christmas' can be everywhere, maybe even more in a quiet place.
As already said the warm city lights go very nicely with the blinding lights of that one Christmas tree. Great pic with a great feeling to it.

This piece reminds me strongly of a tree I saw while visiting family for Xmas and New Years a few years ago. It was the first white winter I had had in a number of years and tree had a set of LED's that strobed downward like falling snow. It was pretty neat.

One of the best Winter scenes I have ever seen. I usually don't look at photomanipulation but this thing really caught my eye and I couldn't look away for a while, the colours are just perfect. Brilliant work!

images like this take me back to when i lived where it snowed when i was younger. i miss the snow, but winter is still my favorite season of the year. i miss the blankets of snow, i miss watching the plow go down the street pushing long piles off to the side, i miss how trees get so beautifully covered in white powder. though there is no snow here, it just makes me want it to be winter that much more. if i had the money, i would have this hanging on my wall year round to remind me of the beauty of winter and the cheer that always seems to come with it. with cold temperatures come warmer hearts

This caught my attention because it reminded me of a scene from a book I read years ago. If I could pick an illustration that best captured the way I saw that particular scene in my mind, this would be it. I love the lights
