Great composition!

Pure genious. It'd love to see a compilation of this series. I think it'd make an amazing abstractish collage.
Seriously, amazing series, I'm so impressed!

radiohat In reply to Suzage [2006-05-15 19:18:48 +0000 UTC]

hmm, i'm not quite able to imagine an abstractish collage. tell me more. please

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Suzage In reply to radiohat [2006-05-16 07:24:33 +0000 UTC]

Haha, perhaps I didn't not put it that well in words. I meant that these photos look abstract in a way; very geometric. And therefor I think it'd look really great to have them in one piece. Just putting them together, in a collage.

radiohat In reply to Suzage [2006-05-18 10:29:55 +0000 UTC]

ah ok, maybe i do. but i'm sure this will not happen in the darkroom, will it?

Suzage In reply to radiohat [2006-05-18 13:03:28 +0000 UTC]

No, I don't think so. It's more a case of cutting and pasting

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

radiohat In reply to Suzage [2006-05-18 23:23:30 +0000 UTC]

you mean like putting them edge on edge?
i'll try that tomorrow. but there's this one in portrait format. damnit. let's se...

Suzage In reply to radiohat [2006-05-20 09:31:00 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, or just aranging them how they look cool and fit on a square paper. Perhaps with white borders between them? Just a suggestion
It's just that I mentioned this because they were scattered all through my messagecentre (I'm not subscribed so it's arranged from date, not from deviant) and I randomly saw them. And I enjoyed them that way, I just think they'd look stronger in one piece or on one wall

hmm, doesn't appeal to me but take a look please: [link]

Suzage In reply to radiohat [2006-05-22 12:40:54 +0000 UTC]

Nah, it doesn't really to me either. I was thinking putting it more in a square or rectangle, but that's kinda impossible without cropping and we don't want cropping. Putting it on a big wall like that should look pretty awesome though

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

radiohat In reply to Suzage [2006-05-22 13:54:23 +0000 UTC]

yes, we don't want cropping. maybe i should drop the one in portrait format...

Ahh... that would be a pity tooooo.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

radiohat In reply to Suzage [2006-05-20 14:52:56 +0000 UTC]

yeah i would love to see them on a wall, alltogether. if they don't have the guts to show them i will make my own exhibition in my basement, hehe

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Suzage In reply to radiohat [2006-05-22 12:39:34 +0000 UTC]

Haha, you should do that. And put pretentious signs in the city. And charge for entrance

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

radiohat In reply to Suzage [2006-05-22 13:53:47 +0000 UTC]

of course. with champaign and caviar.

I really love how the people are "headless" in this, especially that person behind the glass on the left having a square for their head.
Great series. This is my personal favourite this far.

im usually not into b&w photgraphs but there is something about yours that just draw me in, they seem to tell a story in a perfectly odd almost surreal fashion and even though they are beautiful they also make me laugh.... thankn you this is my favorite too by the way!

ahaha another squared head

i think that the empty space of the floor adds a lot to the photo

radiohat In reply to catartica [2006-05-08 13:45:19 +0000 UTC]

where's the squared head? you mean the child?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

catartica In reply to radiohat [2006-05-08 17:58:16 +0000 UTC]

no, i mean the man behind the fahrkarten number 2
it is a rectangle, but the rectangle is a squared figure, not a rounded one... right? heads are usually rounded

ja klar, die sache wird ja irgendwann mal ausgestellt, hoffentlich. passiert ja quasi in zusammenarbeit mit der ΓΆbb. die frage ist nur ob ihnen das nicht zu depri (=emo) ist.

zort In reply to radiohat [2006-05-08 22:34:41 +0000 UTC]
