Description
This is a character I submitted to The Xavier National Institute for the Gifted. Her name is Mishka Yelovich and she emitts gas that is flamable. I wanted to creat an unique character with an unique power.

Origin:
Ever since she was a little, she has been "gassy". Her family affectionately calls her gas leak, skunk-a-ton, stinky M, and various other names. All through elementary and middle school, she was teased and sent to the office. One time a teacher sent her to the nurse, because of her "lack of ability to control bodily functions." She never let that get her down, though. She was always able to joke about her "problem". When she became a teenager, the real fun began. She went to the girl’s bathroom at school and there was a girl getting ready to smoke a cigarette. Big Mistake. At the same time the girl used her lighter, Miskha let it rip, which cause a small explosion to erupt. Mishka survived with a few burns and bruises, but the other girl was severely burned. For a while no one made the connection between Mishka and the explosion in the bathroom. Then, one day she was at a Girl Scout retreat and burped around the campfire. Which cause another small explosion, but no one got hurt.
