This kind of looks like Pinkie got merged with a latex squeeze toy but you did make it look almost photo-realistic.Β I love all the work you put into the hair, how it's just frizzy enough.Β

That's kind of cool
it takes talent to do the shading on a 2d artwork
to make it look like a 3d render.

Yeah, this sure does look like a 3D model from far away. And her "Hello, Pinkie!" design is pretty creepy for me too.
Nice work!Β Β Β

There is an upcoming 3d show of pinkie that the official MLP YouTube channel uploaded and it could mean G5 will be in 3d

I feel it has nothing to do with the 3D style...
Heck, this Pinkie isn't creepy.
I even took the liberty of scrolling your gallery for anything remotely in the creepsters turf, and this was the only piece that struck me. Literally nothing else fit the category /shrug

Wait, so your criteria on whether something looks 3D isn't that it appears to have depth but that it looks creepy?

I think your ability to comprehend English needs some work...
I could take the time to explain, but if I wasn't clear enough the first time I doubt a second attempt will find more success.

You barely even supported your stance, how am I the one that needs to further extrapolate my opinion?Β
You are the one conflating the Uncanny Valley, in which something that is close to looking human does not quite fit the bill and that causes a sense of unease, with something looking 3D. And all it takes to make something look 3D is adding form and depth through proper shading and lighting.
Most people usually sight something looking uncanny as a failure in design, not on how it's rendered.Β
You are the one confusing aesthetics with technique here. All I wanted was for you to further explain your stance, and instead you decide to throw me a petty insult. So unless you actually want to further expound on your thoughts on why the piece in question does not look like it is 3D, I think we are done here.Β

I really admire 's 3D's work. I don't know what particular work's she is referring to. (I greatly admire all of them, and I don't think she should tone it down)Β
For me, Working in 3-d is a bit tricky. Because the Form/lighting, Anatomy/Proportions, and Personality/character all play a role towardsΒ
Uncanny valley or towards toonizing.( A great example is this, is of the Lion king deep fake ~ ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1HGgIβ¦))
Alot of it is experimenting, and developing. But I wish the best onto whatever queen-kittykat decides.Β

That's the thing. As far as digitally painted MLP ponies go, hers are probably some of the best I've seen. Like if someone didn't know any better they might actually think that they were 3d models. And they certainly aren't uncanny valley, because in order to be uncanny valley they would have to look human but not quite.
Oh boy, the Lion King remake. The funny thing is that Disney themselves made the Narnia films years ago and did a much better job with making Asland look more expressive and realistic. Because real animals' faces move. When I drop something and make a loud noise my dogs look worried. When angry they furrow their muzzle and brow. It's not even that they have to look exactly like the cartoon there it's that they look deadpan and stiff the whole time. And that just isn't how animal's faces work. That right there is a good example of something that's actually uncanny, because it's like you are looking at taxidermied animals in the remake.
Yeah same here, I hope she does what makes her happy and not bend the knee to people who put her down.

I'd say the body looks like a 3d model, but the soft painted hair gives away that it's 3d. Could fool some people though!Β
