Drawn freehand with Rotring Rapidograph pens - 0.5 -
Original size is 6" x 6" on 140lb cold pressed Daler Rowney watercolour paper with Derwent Inktense and Letraset Promarker/Prismacolor markers

We have these bugs over here, though they're mostly green.

I love Shield Bugs though this one is just random colouring - they are mainly green or brown over here.
They are meant to be tasty to eat - eaten alive they squirt a hot tingling substance which is meant to be a bit like best chilli ever - have never tried that though....

I have a rule to never eat bugs, so I don't think I'll be trying them. XD
