Description The Great Horned Dragon. Allow me to tell you all that this is the hardest piece of Origami I've ever produced. This began by an 11 inch x 11 inch sheet of paper and encompases several thousand folds

***UPDATE***

A bit of a mistake here. The size of the paper used in the above instance was a 36 x 36 inch piece of paper, though I have made this modle with an 11 x 11 inch piece of paper

I followed a diagram. I must warn you, the dragons found in this book are expert grade. Follow this site to find a review: [link] and apparently there is a link to buy it from origami-shop.com I spent about $40 american on mine, but that's because it cost 4000 yen plus their tax plus shipping and handling, plus fees to translate American Dollar to Japanese Yen. It's a pretty penny, but my oh my are the models in it beautiful.

There's a couple dragons found at [link] that I've done. The directions for one is unfortuneately in portugese and may need an online translator for it, but the others are rather simple to do.

Wow- I've been told by the few origami enthusiasts that I've met that its cheating if you use more than one sheet. Obviously you take that seriously as well - I'm stunned, thats just amazing.

Is that your design or did you get it from a book?

Either way you get props, but if you made that sucker up as you went along you should be designing aircraft for NASA.

We don't know how he did it, but he got us to mars on four pieces of bubblegum and one of McGuyvers nosehairs . . . . .

True Origami, as celebrated throughout the world, is done without scissors, glue or tape, and also done by one sheet of paper though the size of that paper can and does vary from the 1:1 size unit ratio. The only exception to this rule is in the case of unit origami, or the act of using multiple sheets to create one unit that is impossible to do otherwise, which is fudging the rule but still nonetheless stands. An example of this unit origami is like making holed boxes of many collors...

The design of the dragon actually comes from a book I ordered from Origami House in Japan. I am no where near master enough to make something like that by scratch ^^ The book is entitled "Works of Satoshi Kamiya 1995-2003"

That's just from one sheet? Wow... I've seen similar complex figures in books, but those usually took two or sometimes even three sheets to manage...

All one sheet, though I have made an error. That particular dragon was made by a 36 inch x 36 inch piece of paper... but I have made it out of a 11 inch x 11 inch piece of paper as well.

Ya might wanna correct the description to note that, then.
