Description
This is my entry into the Alice in Wonderland contest. For this piece I decided I wanted to do a picture of Alice in a more classical style. I spent about a week working on this, making it the longest digital painting I have done. I used ArtRage Pro and Photoshop. All textures and stock photography are from sxc.hu and cgtextures.Hope you like it!

Thanks! I don't really remember why I left so much empty space, but from a compositional standpoint it helps to balance the focal point of the piece (Alice) in the bottom right. I also really like using a square aspect ratio, so it could have resulted from that as well.

ya, I know. I did this in a more symbolic sense, in that I am placing myself within wonderland by depicting one of the main characters through my own artistic style. I am participating in an artistic way rather than literal.

It's an excellent drawing, though I think Alice would have preferred her own dress a little higher up on her chest. Strictly her speaking, of course.
