Stunning colours - reminds me (please don't be offended by this) of the Star Trek credits - but better!
And, by the by, I like the darkness of the planet - it seems more 'realistic'.

nice bg, and the light coming from that planet would definitely be a intergalactic tourist attraction for sure. Good work with the colours, the shadings nice too, but I don't know about the dark side of the planet being completely black...

Thanks. Part of the darkness is because I have several layers and they are set to different settings. I can lighten it up some but I thought it looked best this way.

Mmm, 'looks again' it has a better overall effect on the picture in the end. It adds a stronger contrast of colours
