Aaaah, I remember that one, it was indeed a very good IFX article.
Good stuff man, so much of your work is inspiring in so many ways each. Wether it's ideas for brushes, observations for composition, or just insights into loosening up and going for the results, as opposed to trying hard to get specific.
Thanks for sharing, here and everywhere else you do, conceptarts. etc.

Maybe a bit abstractive for my taste, but nonetheless everyone must pay tribute for your zeal in detalizing your paintings. Specially, I suppose, Craig Mulins. 
It would be interesting to observe what are the thoughts that usually precede the origin of such ideas.
In general, astonishing skills you have. So we only have to wait for another masterpiece.

The detail... I'm stunned.
Someday, you need to do a tutorial, not on "how to paint these really marvellous pictures that only I on the entire earth can paint ha-ha!" but on "how to get superhuman patience". Yeah.
That's a tutorial I think most of DA would need and appreciate...
