I LOVE this! It's very colorful and I can tell it took quite some time to fabricate since it is traditional.
I personally haven't read the novel, but I can tell this is an important character to you judging by how
hard you've worked on this and how dedicated you were to this piece. My only concerns:
1. Saturation / while yes, you have used a wide array of complementive colors, they seem grey and watered down.
This doesn't seem like the intended affect, so just a little heads up for your next piece; to throw it in an editor where
you can adjust the saturation and brightness would help a great deal.
2. Lifelessness / Now I will admit that I'm not completely sure how realistic you were aiming for with this piece, I do
know that the depth of the artwork could have gone deeper. To put it simply, it's a bit too 2-dimensional and flat. Shadow
work and proportional elements would make this piece a true work of art!
All in all I do enjoy looking at this and it certainly did catch my eye. I appreciate artists like you who put so much
hard work and effort into such pieces based off of characters in novels. Thanks for posting! Keep up the good work!

Thank you for your critique!
And yeah, I am not happy with saturation here. The scanner is not the one I usually use< and I always go over my pieces in Photoshop, but in this case it could only take me this far...

Ah yes, see that's a nice factor to add in the process of making
a piece brilliant. It still looks amazing though! Hope this is the first
of much brilliant progress to come!

This is beautiful!
So her name's Anastasia, am I correct? Or is it Roxelana?
It's proportional and realistic, though I would put some shadow or/and light.
I love it!

Anastasia is a name that was given to her when she lived in Ukraine, but when she was transported to Turkey she was called Roxelana. And only when she got married to Suleyman she got a nickname "Hurrem", which means "joyful".
Thank you!

Oh, ok then! I'll call her Hurrem!
Your art's amazing, again!
My pleasure!
