Description After a couple of years of trying to photograph this fall I finally succeeded. It was always bone dry when I would check it out. This is located just minutes away from Watkins Glen state park in the town of Dix NY on the finger lakes trail. I was battling the sun a little here as it was mid day by the time I got here. Unfortunately I couldn't find a safe way down to the lower falls so I was only able to get a birdseye view of that one. I really wanted to get a shot featuring both falls in one comp. I may need a rope to pull off getting that shot. As always thanks for viewing!

Many thanks Addam, this is definitely one of those hidden gems that few people know about or bother to try to get to. I will definitely go back as now that I am not there I think I thought of a way to get down to the lower portion of the falls. I'm going to post the lower falls shot anyways, it's nothing to crazy over, but i like showing that I was there.

Many thanks for the kind words Doug! My skills have definitely improved a lot over the past year. I like this vantage as well, although I may have thought of a safe way down to get both falls now that I'm not there. We'll see if it works out my next visit.
