Description This piece is called Flite and it is spelled correctly. The term refers to a shape ,like turnings off a lathe, they are helical forms. I sold this at the same time and to the same collector in June of 2006. It is made of 1/2 inch thick stainless steel cold formed and welded together from 3 spiral sections of a recycled food conveyor system(food auger). These big spiral matrixes rotate in large commercial vats keeping the ingredients moving while cooking (like corn chips). I have dissected the parts and reformed into ART.
