Concept art for a Sky Tree!
It uses air currents to stay afloat.
The leaves, while rigid, are flexible enough to carry the entire tree with the wind.
The end of the leaves is pointed and directed downwards in order to "capture" the most air, be as aerodynamic as possible and fend off creatures that might want to touch the tree.
Its roots feed off the moisture in the air rather than water in the ground.
The wood is light.

Please please please disregard the background, I know the water is terrible and there are many white spots.
