I got this adorable bobcat on my my most recent vacation, and I decided that even though she's not taxidermy quality, at all, I still want to do something big with her, so I'm gonna mount her! Imma do a little experiment, instead of buying a form for her, I'm going to make one! No, not cast one like a decent taxidermist XD sculpture it out of foam, essentially like a fursuit, well see if it looks horrible or not, my idea is that'll make her slightly bendy? I guess, so she looks more realistic being held, her head and paws (I bought new paws for her) will be in a heavier clay, so that way they'll dangle and have weight to them, it's just an idea, a little fun relaxing project for myselfRelated content

I think you'll do a great job sculpting the head! My cross fox (Teddy) was not taxidermy quality, either, but since he is just a cuddle fox for me (think 'adult teddy-bear) it didn't really matter. In fact, it was kind of fun to see what I could do with him with all of the various scraps I had left over from other projects. So, Have Fun!
