There was'nt a specific theme, you just had to redraw an artwork from the artist hosting the contest ^^

I really like the dreamlike atmosphere of this image.
The contrast of red and white produces an atmosphere of psychological tension that contrasts with the stillness of the character.

i really like how soft everything feels, like its a picture out of a storybook or dream sequence, it has a surreal sort of feeling to it and it's a great aesthetic. I like how the lineart is blue in some areas to stand out against the red background and the stark white of her hair. There's a lot of emotion in this piece and the use of color communicates it well, the white brings to mind death and the red destruction, the little bits of yellow are telling of the remaining innocence of the character although the flame-like background may very well destroy that too. And of course the blue tells the audience of sorrow. Sorry if i misinterpreted anything, this piece just kinda got my imagination going! Good job!Β
