yes, yes, it's a very random pose xD, but it kind of came to me really quick.........this is my first time drawing a mermaid in a loooonnnnggg time . i used to be crazy about the story "Little Mermaid" (the original version, not the Disney one >>...i like the original better........the Disney one's too........."happily ever after"..... dunno if that makes sence.....)

combination of watercolour and gouache
colour adjusted with Photoshop (cause my scanner always kills the colours =_=+)

Rants about the Work In Progress:
The hair and water was such a pain ><.....i'll never use masking fluid for water EVER!! >< i masked it, painted two layers, and when i peeled it off, it looked so horrible >< so i had to re-layer it (what a waste of time =_=+), and then the hair covered all the lines so i had to re-trace them after i was finished.....>>....it really took a long time...........>< is the hair too light?? O.o
