Did this while I was in Mexico, but was waiting for when I had the courage to post it and don't read too much of this if you want to avoid spoilers for Disney Pixar's Turning Red.

Anyway, I've heard lots of Nintendo fans having high hopes for Princess Daisy appearing in the sequel to the Super Mario Bros. Movie (which of course I'm hoping for that to happen as well). However, the way I would want Daisy's animated film version to be portrayed is actually quite complicated because I'm thinking in the 2nd film, she should first appear in her original design (I'm talking about the version of Daisy that portrayed her with long hair and a pink crown) before later turning into that short-haired tomboy we all know and love as explained here. Mae Whitman as Princess Daisy. , Why would I want Mae Whitman to voice Sarasaland's underrated Princess? Well, simple. The majority of characters Mae Whitman voices, particularly Katara (Avatar), April O'Neil (The 2012 TMNT series), Rose (from American Dragon), Shanti (Jungle Book 2) and Amity Blight (Owl House), all have similarities with one another.All are the love interests to the main character. All are depicted as being soft-spoken, but hide a feisty spirit within them, though Amity did initially start off as being rude and entitled (and I was thinking that since Daisy's design had changed from long-haired Peach Copy, to Short-Haired Go-getter,, the future film that she would appear in would show her character development). All have a reluctance they need to overcome.Three examples. For Shanti, it's adventuring into the jungle to rescue Mowgli, for Rose it's accepting that not all monsters are evil, and for Amity, it's overcoming her mother's influence and accepting Luz as a friend and later girlfriend (the reluctance I thought up for Daisy is learning that's sometimes it's okay to ask for help on something even if it's her responsibility and that she doesn't have to face her problems by herself when her beloved father gets captured by the evil space alien, Tatanga*, who brainwashes almost all of the denizens of Sarasaland and who also wants to marry Princess Daisy). Her portrayal of Tinker Bell also has some of these similarities. Her love interest is arguably Terence, with whom she has conflict with in Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure and has many similar personality traits as well as several reluctances she faces. The only difference is that she is the lead of her franchise as opposed to being a supporting character like the others. Plus, despite her cute appearance, Tinker Bell is very sassy, feisty, stubborn, and hot-tempered (kinda like Daisy, huh?)Not to mention that Princess Daisy actually has a Fairy costume as seen here. https://we-are-daisy.fandom.com/wiki/Fairy_Daisy Then there's this quote from Peter Pan. “Tink was not all bad: or, rather, she was all bad just now, but, on the other hand, sometimes she was all good. Fairies have to be one thing or the other, because being so small they unfortunately have room for one feeling only at a time. They are, however, allowed to change, only it must be a complete change.” And lastly, Anya Taylor-Joy is actually a fan of Peter Pan. And wouldn't it be cool if the best friend of her character, Peach was voiced by someone who originally was the voice of a very well-loved character based off of J. M. Barrie's story?

And the other thing about how I picture Daisy in the 2nd film is that before Tatanga's arrival, Princess Daisy was adored by almost all in Sarasaland, mainly for her beauty. When her best friend Peach, along with The Mario Bros., Toad, and Toadette, come to visit, it's love at first sight for Luigi as he later finds himself secretly drawing him and Daisy together (the picture shown here is one of those examples, only they wouldn't exactly be in color since Luigi would only be having a regular pencil to draw with; and if you want, I could show you more of "Luigi's" dream drawings soon) before it all gets exposed to the Princess or Sarasaland, who, seeing Luigi's discomfort and embarassment, politely asks for the drawings to be returned to the poor plumber, who then proceedes to scold himself for drawing those "sexy, sexy" things!

I got that idea from that scene in Turning Red when Mei had the urge to draw her first crush, Devon before the drawings soon got revealed to the Daisy Mart (see why it would fit? ^^) Clerk by her mom, which later pushes Mei to scold herself for doing all of that. Also, while it's no surprise that a Daisy flower was drawn in this, the reason for that White Lily being there is because it's actually the national flower of Italy, which is how Princess Daisy (being a flower princess) is able to get enough information of Mario and Luigi's nation, as well as with the other parts of the world that either have a state or national flower.
