I've wanted to get in some more colour, lighting and form
practice, so I'll be trying to do more photo studies!
I'm aiming to limit most to 30 minutes each (or overall just
less than 1 hour) to really push myself to observe and
understand the makeup of the photo. I'm not trying to
perfectly replicate the reference, but just practice in this way.
This first one was referenced from this lovely photo by
FrancoBorsiWildLife ! The colours were great, and having previously
done speedpaints of birds, the subject was a treat to work with~
