Those who know me know my favorite animals to be cats, but I find there are no animals out there more gentle and sweet than guinea pigs. I've had a few in my life and I find them to be very ideal pets. Their passive demeanor, subtle squeaks of contentment, and random "popcorn" jumping to exhibit happiness can woo over even the most apathetic soul.
